The annual Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Gala took place last night in NYC. This year’s exhibit “Charles James: Beyond Fashion” pays homage to the legendary designer, one of the greatest American Couturier known for his elaborate, highly structured ball gowns, architectural petticoats and the “taxi dress”. The Met Gala is one the most anticipated fashion and red carpet events of the year, combining the world of fashion, art and entertainment. The event revealed some funny and unexpected moments including pigeons invading the red carpet to an unidentified streaker wearing a pink thong. But let’s shine the spotlight on the fashion.
